Osage Hunter

Moses was found as a toddler by a warrior from the Osage tribe. The warrior believed him to be the son of a Norwegian hunter who had gone missing, last seen in St Louis. This warrior took him to his people and they raised him as their own. Moses may have been of Norwegian blood with his green sapphire eyes and golden blonde hair, but as far as it concerned him, he was Osage. They were his family.

When Moses grew into a young man he was a great hunter and a fierce warrior who fought with the rage of a wounded bear. The enemies of the Osage feared Moses. Moses was a restless soul though. One day a group of Scotsman came looking for a guide to head west for fur. Since he saw these men looked more like him, Moses' curiosity got the best of him, and he was the first to volunteer. And so, Moses headed west. His exploits from that day on brought him fame all the way back to England and throughout Europe.

He was one of the most successful guides and hunters white man had ever seen. His agility was like that of a bighorn sheep of the Rockies, unmatched. He even married a Scottish lass, a daughter from the Scotsman he first guided west. She even took him to Scotland once.

Moses never really adopted the American attire even though he spent most of his time with them, he still wore his buckskins and moccasins and never removed his neck knife (even in Scotland), in his heart, he was Osage. Moses in his later years was such a respected warrior that he lead a large militia of Osage warriors for the confederacy during the civil war. After the war was over, he and his wife and 3 daughters moved to the territory of Colorado to settle. (FICTIONAL STORY)
